Who are we?
For over 6 years, Shawn & Preston have been hosting Pixelated Paranormal, together, exploring tales of the unknown, the unusual and stories of high strangeness, all while moving you a little bit further down the paranormal highway. But they haven’t been alone…
so, lets meet the boys:
Shawn Swope
Shawn, along with Rob, came up with the idea for Pixelated Paranormal while the two were chatting about ghost stories and alien abductions at 2am whilst playing Xbox; it’s just a thing they did, and still do. But Shawn’s not just the weird kid in the corner of the school library, reading Paranormal books, he’s also an avid OCR runner, Illustrator and Graphic Designer, and Craft Beer lover, who loves to fall asleep to 80’s Horror movies, collecting Horror vinyl and paperback books… and drawing creepy crawly monsters. He’s just morbid little ghoul with a heart of gold, and a cute little Shih Tzu named Luna, who can often be heard snoring in the background of most episodes of the show.

Preston Gilliand
Preston, the son of the great Big John Weiner, has been a co-host of the Pixelated Paranormal Podcast since the very beginning. When he’s not delivering the unusual and strange with his honey butter voice or backseat driving down the Paranormal highway with the gang, he’s either making art or watching really crappy horror movies with his kids. He’s also a Duck Daddy… no, don’t Google that, cuz we don’t know what will come up… it just means that the guy has a bunch of ducks.

Stephen Derome
Big Stephen has been holding things down in the ol’ back seat for about 3 years now. Stephen is a true lover of Horror, Pop Culture and Music, and a collector of ALL things video game related, vinyl and super rad toys. He’s also a master garage-saler and also the resident tech guy when things go south. Oh, and he’s also the keeper of the Big Ol’ Book of B.S.

Robert Wood
The man who started Pixelated Paranormal, by saying "You know, Shawn, we could record all these conversations we're having late at night and make it into a podcast..." At the age of around 9, Rob's grandmother told him about aliens and how they were real, by telling him a story about a family she knew out in rural Kentucky that had been attacked by them, late one night. That's how he learned about the Kentucky Goblin case, and after that, he couldn't get enough of the elementary school's library of paranormal books. Now that he's (supposedly) retired from podcasting, when he's not delving into the unknown, Rob enjoys trips and hiking with his wife, running games of Dungeons and Dragons for those he can convince to play, and of course, playing video games.
